An organic vineyard is one where grapes are grown without chemical fertilizers, weed killers (herbicides), insecticides or other synthetic chemicals. Farms and cellars that have been awarded IPW (Integrated production of Wine) Conformance Certificate, are only issued to those producers committed to growing grapes and producing wine in an environmentally sustainable manner.
